Our Safety Program

Delta Innovative Service conducts random job site safety inspections weekly. The inspections are conducted by Jeff Philpott, the Safety Manager for Delta Innovative Services. The management team at Delta Innovative Services provides management, training and engineering in order to reduce injuries and maintain OSHA compliance.

Delta Innovative Services, as part of the safety culture, uses many unique engineering techniques to provide fall protection to employees. A combination of guardrails, The Raptor fall protection systems and Skynets are used on each job.

Employees are provided various in class training sessions that include competent person fall protection, OSHA 10 Hour Certification Training, equipment training and Hazardous Materials training. Delta Innovative Services has an eleven person safety committee that provides job site safety inspections daily to ensure that a safe working environment is provided. All employees are involved in a company wide incentive program. The employees are rewarded for safe jobsite conditions and corrected problems.

During the weekly safety inspections, any problems or concerns found are corrected or addressed before the job continues. The job site safety meetings are unique in the fact that they combine hands on training and a verbal safety meeting in one. Often times the corrective actions are used as a safety meeting. This gives employees a chance to receive an explanation on items that were corrected and also allows them a chance to participate in a solution, creating a team atmosphere that is second to none in the construction industry.
