Safety doesn’t happen by accident. It is the culmination of knowledge, training, experience, and dedication to the mutual goal of not only having no injuries, but more importantly – not engaging in the unsafe behaviors that lead to them in the first place.

Many construction companies will “outsource” safety and hire external companies to audit their safety program. While this may work for some, Delta Innovative Services has safety as one of its core elements by having two safety professionals on staff. Tom Ruzicka is the Director of Safety who is recognized by the Board of Safety Professionals (BCSP) as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) – the highest accreditation a safety professional can obtain in BCSP. Tom has been the Director of Safety with Delta for over 10 years.

We adhere to strict compliance with company policies and industry regulations:

Daily communication on all construction sites to discuss hazards and safety protocol.

Hard hats and safety vests and other protective equipment are worn.

Annual safety training and OSHA classes are attended.

All Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations are followed.

Backup alarms on equipment.

Defensive driving instruction for all drivers of company vehicles.

New employees are mentored by seasoned employees.

Because of the safety program Delta has built we have been recognized with numerous awards through the Builder’s Association and MRCA (the Midwest Roofers Contracting Association).
